Fayetteville,Arkansas

VISITATION: Private
FUNERAL SERVICE: Private
INTERMENT: Fayetteville National Cemetery

Patricha was born December 6, 1935 in Tawas City, Michigan.  She grew up as a Great Depression child with nine other siblings.  She would tell her family stories of how difficult life was back then but how much she loved growing up in Michigan. Patricha met and married her partner of 58 years, Marion “Ike” Icenogle, an Airman 1st Class assigned to the Oscoda Air Force Base on July 18, 1953 in East Tawas, Michigan. When his tour of duty ended in 1955 they relocated to Illinois, Ike’s childhood home. They lived in numerous farming communities around the Galesburg area, ultimately ending up in Knoxville Illinois in 1967 to finish raising their family. A testament to her strength in character, she went back to school and on May 30, 1980 secured her GED.   From there she went on to take two years of marketing classes at Carl Sandburg Junior College. In 1984 they moved from Knoxville, Illinois to Fayetteville, Arkansas and later that same year she was employed by Campbell Soup, now known as Pinnacle Foods, in Fayetteville.  After 27 years she was still working full time on the production line before ill health befell her.  She said that working kept her young and she certainly did have a young outlook on life. Patricha enjoyed cooking, baking, singing and listening to classic country music.  But most of all, she took the greatest pride and pleasure in taking care of her family.  Christmas was the time of year that she would be in her element.  In addition to the candy, snacks, and pies this amazing woman traditionally made fifteen varieties of holiday cookies which she took the time to decorate and individually wrap each and every one.  Many people over the years have enjoyed her baking as she would make sure that each of her children would have plenty to share with their
coworkers.

Patricha is survived by her husband Marion and their five children: Cheryl (John) Simpson of Fort Worth, TX, Teresa (Dan) Skinner of Herman, IL, Glenda (Bruce) Lincoln of North Henderson, IL, Lawrence (Candy) Icenogle of Fayetteville, AR, and Randall Icenogle of Fayetteville, AR.  Grandchildren: Gabe (Amanda) and great grandchildren Jace and Lucy Skinner of London Mills, IL, Caleb (Bobbi) Skinner of Dallas City, IL, Rachel (Dusty) Roberts of Abingdon, IL, Stephen and Bryan Lincoln of North Henderson, IL, Step-grandchildren: Cody Phillips of Prairie Grove, AR, Casey Phillips of Rogers, AR, Logan, Zachary, and Joshua Icenogle of Fayetteville, AR, Seth MacDonald of Memphis, TN, and Brielle and Apryle Icenogle of Rogers, AR. Siblings: Dorothy (Richard) Walz of Summerfield, FL, Ruth Witkowski of Port Charlotte, FL, Sylvia Erwin of Roseville, MI, Charles (Dorothy) Hill of Harrison, MI, Carolyn (Chester) Hart of
