Tony…..you have been spoiling me rotten with your abundant love and encouraging words. I cannot tell you how much love and respect I feel for my husband when I hear these words spoken in reference to him….I am so lucky to have been with him for the past 11 years – as we both grew and settled into our place of Zen. I desperately miss him.

You are so sweet Gretchen – I know Donnie really enjoyed that last trip to Blenko, especially meeting both of you and l truly appreciate your kind words. I will try to find peace…and I actually have glimpsed moments of absolute clarity, hand in hand with a complete calmness of body…moments when I am truly confident that he is holding my hand, encouraging me as I make decisions for us that I never thought I would be making alone…..ever.

The house has been covered with people – it started at 8am Wednesday and began slowing Saturday. Tonight I am spending the rest of this evening with Chelsea (daughter) and Jax (son) – the first opp we have had to come together and just sit as a family since Donnie left.. A hard day. Thank you though for your kind words – truly appreciate them.

Thank you so much Haley – I look forward to meeting you. I have always known how wonderful Donnie was, but I have a new appreciation for just how many people he touched in this positive way. Everyone who knew him lost so much that day… it has helped us heal to work in his shop and hear from all of you – so thank you again. Talk with you soon, I hope (just use his phone # – it will remain the main line for Don’s Automotive). – Tascha Farris

I’ve known Donnie for years. He was a great man and a very hard worker. One of the nicest, most honest guys I have ever met. I have seen him go out of his way to help total strangers. My wife’s car broke down while I was in Iraq and she couldnt get ahold of anyone but him, and he came to her, fixed it, and didnt even charge her. My sincerest condolences to the family, and anyone else who is grieving the loss of this wonderful man. I will miss him dearly.
