Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Robert’s family. He and I grew up together from Root Elementary on up. Have good memories of our friendship. Enjoyed seeing the recent photos of him at a recent FHS Mini-reunion. Our prayers for his family.

My sympathy to the Sanders family. I enjoyed seeing Robert and the March mini reunion. It was nice catching up. We all grew up together in the Woodlawn/Jackson neighborhood. Many good memories of those days. I pray for comfort for all of you.

It’s hard to know the right words to say to make this time less trying for you. There are so many memories. I knew Robert as early as those pre-school days when our mothers would just as soon have us out of the house on those warm summer days in Fayetteville to use up some of that energy we had in abundance, along with my older brother David.
I have to say that Robert’s passing has sparked so many memories of our childhood while living on Olive Street and Mission..the Root school days, they all come flooding back. He will be sorely missed and thought of quite often. Please know that you’re in our prayers
and hope that time and pleasant memories can heal the pain of his passing..

We are so sorry that Robert has passed. David, my husband, said Robert was his first friend and a friend through life. He was the best man at our wedding. I know you all will really miss him.
