Kaylan and I are sad to hear about the passing of Doug P.

And for Parker….your Grandpa was your biggest fan… I never heard a story about your baseball career that didn’t include your Grandpa, and how he was a constant presence on and off the field…..I know his physical presence will be sorely missed by you and your family…Always remember…ROOTS AND WINGS….you come from a long line of amazing men…and women in your life…Shine on…he’s watching…and I’m quite sure…the joy you brought to his life won’t ever leave him….he can’t help it if he never stops smiling…Its a Grandparent thing… Love and Hugs all around…Auntie Kari and yur Cuz Kaylan M. Loyd.

So sad to hear that on top of the pain of the loss of your father, there is this aodtiidnal pain to bear.I hear adoptive parents say family bonds aren’t made by blood alone a lot. I wish they understood that blood bonds aren’t broken by adoption either.(((((((hugs)))))))
