I can not believe that Alan is gone. The last time we were together was at our 30 year high school reunion in 2003. He was one of my best friends. My heart goes out to his family, his mother, his fiance’, his sisters, his granddaughter and most of all his kids, Amber and Shawn. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very hard time.

I am so sorry for your loss, I have many fond memories of Alan. He was so happy that time at Catfish Hole when his dad and all the family were at one big table having a great time, taking Hannah on the 4-wheeler across the pasture and playing with his tractor on the farm. But what I most remember is his deep love for his family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rest in peace, Alan, I love you. Nancy

Very shocking and sad news. Although a lot of time and distance separate us, it does not change my sincere sympathies to Shawn and Amber and the extended family. I am deeply sorry for your loss and am praying for you guys during this difficult time.

We know Alan was a very big part of your family because you speak of him often. We did not know him but could tell he was special just from the things you always say. Keep the memories close. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my dear father, I miss you already but, know that you are in heaven and FINALLY at peace. You worked hard all your life and taught me to work hard. You were my hero and my rock. I am proud that Nancy Gilmore calls me “My Father’s DAUGHTER” as I know I am so very much like you…I thank you for all the love and support over the years. I thank you for taking me to see the great Stevie Ray Vaughn, for teaching me to drive a standard : ) that was funny. I love that you told me all these years that out of your children you worry the least about me because I am a fighter and can make it on my own. I thank you for the fishing pole you bought me special, when I was down. I thank you for listening when I needed to cry. I love that you came to every riding lesson I had to watch how I rode and handled the horses. More than anything I love the days when I made you laugh at something silly I said or did. You are an amazing man and there is a hole in the world where there was once a shining star…I am sad that I will never hear you say “Hi little girl” when you answer my calls. But, I will always know I AM your little girl and will carry that in my heart always…I love you my precious daddy…Your little girl Mandi

I’m sorry to hear of Alan’s passing he was such a kind, and peaceful hardworking man. He rented a house in Burbank from my wife, and I. It was a pleasure to know him, and again I’m sorry for your loss.
