Luella Mae Buck November 9,1916 ~ November 17,2012

Luella Mae Buck, 96 of Farmington died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born November 9, 1916 in Cane Hill, Arkansas to James and Fannie Litle. She was retired from Washington Regional Medical Center after many years, a longtime member of Baldwin Church of Christ and a member and past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star, University City Chapter 495 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Buck and sister, Geraldine Snow. Survivors include her two daughters; Luanna Oxford and husband Leroy and Alpha Davis and husband Sam both of Fayetteville; two sisters, Juanita Faulkner and Auda Ruth Faulkner both of Hutchinson, Kansas; grandson, Derek Oxford and wife Ashlie of Texarkana, Texas; granddaughter, Bronwyn Davis of Fayetteville and several nieces, nephews and many friends. The Family will receive friends Monday, November 19, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Baldwin Church of Christ with Mr. Robert Dockery officiating. Burial will be at Patrick Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.     Reading of Luella’s death brought back many fond memories of the days when she and Ralph lived in Huntsville. I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

    Luanna and Alpha

    We wanted you to know that you have our greatest sympathy and we are truly saddened. Luella was more than just a wonderful person she was always kind and considerate to us and we always looked forward to seeing her.

    What a great little lady Luella was and she will definitely be missed! It was an honor to be of service to her weekly for her hair and nails in the beauty shop @ Peachtree Village.
