Pat, you and the children have my sincerest condolences. I know these past two years have been extremely hard and challenging for you & Roger. Sometimes the Lord places challenges in our way or creates extreme hardships to test our faith and the trust we have in Him. Sometimes there are never answers as to the “why” or timing of things in our lives. Yes, it is a very sad time in the lives of those of us who were family to Roger, but it is comforting to know that despite his very difficult and painful last year, he (and you) is no longer suffering and hope he is experiencing a refreshing renewal in his new heavenly home watching over you and his family. The sad & painful times are now over, & it is now time to remember & celebrate all the joyful memories you experienced in your time together. Hold strong to your faith in God and continue to trust in Him and He will get you through any financial or material obstacles brought to you as a result of your loss. Call or email if you need to talk.

Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. Roger was always so helpful to me when he worked at Kiewit. We used to talk about Mustang since I grew up there. Always said what a small world it was. My prayers are with you and your family at this time. As you said, he is no longer hurting, it is just us hurting now, but we will see him and be with him again in heaven.
