Very sorry for your loss knowing it is dificult but knowing she is in heaven with her Lord and Savor means alot to us. We are jeolous she went before us. She is in a new body and walking and talking with Jesus looking down on us saying you should see this place. No more sorrow no more pain, no sickness, just love, happiness, and joy. We are praying for you and your family for strenght and comfort to get through this and you will with the Lord’s help and you know to just ask him for whatever you need and he will answer. Sorry for your loss. Melba is looking down on us from Heaven where she is in Gods arms. She was always the most cheerful person I ever knew. She will be missed by everyone that crossed paths with her. Keep the faith and know she is in a better place even though we will miss her. Love you all.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss! Mom just told me today about Melba’s passing. If I had known I would have come to the funeral. I have good memories of her when we were kids. Praying for you all.

I have been out of town and only today heard about Melba. I am so sorry that we have lost her! I worked with her for many years at Second Mile and the Second Season Shop. She was one of the loveliest, gentlest, kindest women I have met. In spite of suffering she always had a smile and pleasant word for me. I pray that the wonderful God of the Bible will be your comfort.

Melba was such a wonderful worker for us at Second Season shop of Second Mile Ministries of University Baptist Church — Dorothy Haines and Melba worked hard and ran the shop which not only clothed many people, but made much financial support to help our broader ministries. Today. I am wearing a sweater that Melba got in, brought upstairs, just for me… saying she remembered that I liked yellow….then she went back down to her work…. I loved and admired Melba Allred…..
