Linda was a great wife, mother, daughter, attorney and friend. She was so very proud of her family and always had a story to tell. When we worked together, every time we talked there was laughter. That’s what I will miss the most about her and remember her for. Her laugh and her sense of humor. Many prayers to the family and my heartfelt condolences. We were all blessed to have known her.

Linda was a school classmate and friend, I can remember her saying she wanted to be a lawyer/judge, seems to me she knew what she wanted from life and strived to meet those goals. I cherish the memories of going thru school together, and only wish we had been closer friends in our adult lives. My prayers go out for her family to be comforted during their loss.

Andy, you and yours are in my prayers. As people of faith, we know Linda basking in the Lord’s presence as she basked in the Sun in this life. As people of faith, we support each other in this Body of Christ in which we are part, and in which we find strength. My prayer for you and your sons is peace. Peace in the sure knowledge that Linda may not be here in body, but she is very much and always will be here with you in spirit, changed but not gone. May he hold you in the palm of His hand.

Andy and boys, Marilyn, Curtis, & Laura,
I have worked for years with Marilyn at the library….we all shared our children growing up, good times & bad just like family. Marilyn’s illness & retirement has left whole in our lives. And Linda’s continuing on her journey before anyone was ready for her to go has touched us all, too. She was so concerned for her mother and trying to find the best care for her. I remember Linda & her smile. I remember when Noah was born. I remember when she found you, Andy, & how excited she was with her plans. We all celebrated when she graduated from law school. We were all so worried & concerned with her heart & health issues. She was working on cases in Memphis, maybe 3 years ago, & came to our Christmas party with Marilyn. I sat with them & visited & caught up on all of your family happenings…what Noah & Levi were up to, decorating the house, her law practice, reminiscing when she was in high school….it was a fun night. We worried with Marilyn thru her pregnancy & celebrated Gabe’s birth….both of them healthy & all of you happy. My heart goes out to each of you. Ours is not to reason why. Linda has left a wonderful legacy. Please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you all. My the Good Lord provide you with comfort & peace. Sincerely, Kay Taylor

    Marilyn and family,
as a co-worker of Marilyn’s with children of similar ages to Linda’s in Fayetteville, I was happily caught up with their good news from time to time; when new pictures were sent of the children, I was always proudly updated. Marilyn always spoke so highly of the family, and with such pride that I felt like I knew them. I am heartbroken that the family is going through such a hard time right now, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Schneider and Griffin Families, I am so sorry for your loss. We have been turned upside down by how much we miss seeing Marilyn everyday and when we got word about Linda we were all doublly in shock. I do know that Linda was a great daughter, wife, sister and mother who will be sorely missed by all those she came in contact with. Marilyn’s pride in Linda and Andy shows in her smile and the glint of happiness that I see in her eyes when she tells me about an achievement from Noah or Levi or a new picture of Gabe will always be treasured. Peace to all of you on this journey. You continue to be in my thoughts.

I was lucky enough to meet Linda in the 2nd grade. We attended school and church together throughout our youth. Many times we were the only two students in our Sunday School class. The nonsense those teachers had to tolerate. Thinking of those days reflect my memories of her throughout her life- laughing, fun, funny, smart and loving. From the day I met her, she wanted to be a lawyer. That never changed. I was so proud of her when she reached a life long goal. Our birthdays are three days apart, and I always looked forward to the card and family update from her. She definitely loved Andy and her boys. I can’t believe she has left us so soon. Mrs. Marilyn, Andy, Curtis, Laura, Noah, Levi and Gabe- I will continue to pray for you all. I wish I was there to give you all hugs.

Linda and I were classmates at Valley View. We spoke often in school but it usually ended in her very characteristic smile and her telling me to go away. Mostly because I was a goofball…she may have even tried to hit me a couple of times. We sat next to each other in typing 1 and 2. When we started the second year she just rolled her eyes when I sat in the chair next to her. She “loved” it when I constantly asked her to repeat what the teacher just said. That said, I always smile when I think about those times and I will continue to smile when I think about you and the brief time we spent together on this earth. God bless you and your family and I pray the gang gets back together when we all get where we’re going.
