I’m thankful to God for growing up around examples of women of God such as Pat.
She was that sweet, calm woman behind the man, who I’m sure did so much more than I will ever know. And, I could and can – always tell by here family how much of an amazing wife and Mom she was as well. What a sweetheart God has gained… hugs and prayers…and His comfort and strength to you all – Amanda Smith.

Harris Dean, I just heard about Pat. I won’t tell you that I know how you feel because I can’t imagine how it feels losing your partner in life. But I will tell you that Marsha both really feel for you and your family. You and I go back 45 years and I have always treasured and felt really good about the times we worked together, both at Bear Brand and then at ESD and the way we have kept in touch over the years. I plan on keeping in touch with you now and I regret not contacting you more often. I knew Pat well enough that I know she is in God’s hands now. If there is anything Marsha and I can do, please let me know. Please be assured that our prayers are with you and your family.

    Dear Harris Dean and family,
I am so sorry for your lost, it won’t be an easy thing, as you know I just lost Rick and Doris just lost Maurice. I didn’t know until today about Pat. I called Doris as she is in Springfield. We just want to say we love you and will be praying for God to give you strength. Although we are 2nd cousins, there is still a closeness and a bond there. Lov ya, Sharen and Doris
