We all are so very sad to lose our beloved Karen. She has helped and supported everyone in our office for so many years, and showed such grace and courage while battling her cancer. We love her and will miss her so very much. We are so very sorry for your loss of such a fine and caring person.

    Pearl, Morris, Lori and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. My niece was a wonderful person who saw realistically and truthfully in all things. Her love of animals was only surpassed by her love of life. She will be so desperately missed by us all. My heart goes out to you as I can only imagine your grief can’t be measured in the loss of your beloved KB. Just know our Lord and saviour will keep her company till we all meet again.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Karen’s passing, and received the news while I’m out of town. I will miss Karen’s smiling face, and her sweet voice. Karen was one of the most caring people that I’ve ever met. She always had an upbeat attitude, even in the face of her illness. May you rest in peace, my friend!

Karen was far more than a work mate, she was a dear friend. We spent many, many lunch hours walking and talking. Her stories about farm life, the goats, cows, cats, and Dave’s pigeons, gave one insight to another side of Karen, apart from the office. Her love of family, friends and energetic approach to life was ever apparent. My thoughts and prayers are with Dave, Lori, her parents, and all of those in Iowa and Nebraska that Karen maintained close friendships with, despite the distance. I’ll miss her ever so much.

I’m very saddened by the sudden loss of my Aunt Karen. She was a phenomenal woman whom I looked up to with much admiration and love. She always had a smile on her face and was one of the friendliest and compassionate people I have ever met. I can recall meeting her when I was 8 years old and hoping one day I could call her “Aunt Karen.” The effect she had on Dave and those around her was incredible and something I had never experienced. While I miss her more than I can say, I know she’s in a much better place now. I love you and miss you Aunt Karen! May you rest in peace.

Karen was more than a co-worker – she was a dear friend. I will miss our morning chats at work. It was easier to start the morning after spending a few minutes with her. Karen’s passing leaves a big hole in my life and in my heart. She will be missed and I feel fortunate to have known and loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Karen’s family and friends.
