Traci Lynn McCuistion, December 2, 1965~November 8, 2013

Traci Lynn McCuistion, 47 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born December 2, 1965 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Ted McCuistion and Betty Kendrick McCuistion.

She graduated from Pryor High School in Pryor, Oklahoma and from college at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, OK.She was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville where she served the church as a lay leader and a visionary in beginning The River worship and prayer service.She served on many missionary trips and committed her life to serving Jesus and the people of Uganda.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her three brothers, Taylor McCuistion  and wife Janet of Pryor, OK, Kelly McCuistion  and wife Betty of Lorena, TX and Barry McCuistion and wife Janet of Allen, TX; many nieces and nephews; and a very large and gracious church family at Central United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, November 12, 2013at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service will be held 10 AM Wednesday in the Great Hall at Central United Methodist Church with Mr. Jody Farrell officiating.

Burial will be at Elm Cemetery in Leach, Oklahoma under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

The family would like memorials to be made the Central United Methodist Church “Uganda Mission” 6 West Dickson St, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701 or Willard Walker Hospice Home

    Traci was a dear friend of my good friend, Susan Meek. Although I never met Traci, I felt I knew her through Susan and Susan painted a lively word portrait of Traci! Susan told me Traci left quite an imprint on this world and Traci would be missed forever. Blessings and peace to all those family and loved ones who held Traci dearly in their hearts.
