Janice Marie Tottey July 3, 1929~November 30, 2013

Janice Marie Tottey 84, of Combs passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at North Hills Lifecare and rehab. She was born on July 3, 1929 in Ithaca, New York to Albert Berich and Mildred Hunt Berich.

She Married George Tottey in San Antonio, Texas on July 30, 1949. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, John and son in law Alan. Survivors include five children, Kathy  Thomasee and her husband Armand of Bolckow, MO, Chris Tottey of Pipestone, MN, Karen Ahlschlager of Marshall, MN, Steven Tottey and wife Tammy of Combs, AR and David Tottey of Combs, AR; two sisters, Barbara Gilpin and Beverly Farr; niece, Suzanne Smith; grandchildren, Stephan, James, Kathryn, Westly, Corrine, Audra, Travis and Kayla and several great grandchildren. The Family would like to give a special thanks for the care given to our mother by the staff at North Hills Lifecare and Rehab. A graveside service will be at 10 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.

    We would like to send our condolences to all of the family. We are so sorry to hear about the lose of your dear mother. She was a wonderful woman. She will be greatly missed, but also fondly remembered by everyone. My God be with you all in this loss. Gwen Young

    I am so sorry for your loss. I have such good memories of Janice! She and I worked so hard at learning how to play the piano for the church. We were encouraging each other every day! She was a sweet lady with a heart of gold, I know you will miss her very much.
