Dear Aunt Pam was a great pillar of our family, and ever will be. She was a moral compass, and when she spoke, there was something to be gained. A great victory for Heaven, and yet a great loss to her loving family, still living. If there should be any comfort, let it be that Aunt Pam now resides with Our Lord, and her mother, also.

We will miss you, Aunt Pam. I know you are with Grandma, now, and that the both of you sit in glory. There will be a nagging pain, and a sense of loss, until the rest of us sit with you, also.

Lord, please comfort our family for our loss. Let us take comfort, and rest, in You.

I am so grateful to have enjoyed the gift of experiencing Pam’s brilliant life-force energy in my life. She was the glue to our Lufkin Nia Community…so Joyful, SO welcoming, SO expressive, a force of LOVE to all in her sphere. I would follow her anywhere! We caravanned to Nia gigs in Nacogdoches, Austin…and even when Pam moved to Fayetteville…I followed, just to take in the beauty of her selfless friendship…to dance with her and her beautiful daughters. She changed me. She showed me what it is to fearlessly follow dreams…to love passionately…and to say YES to pleasure in life. Your light and love never dies…it will be with me always. I love you, Pam.

Dear Shelley and other family members I am sorry for your loss. Pam was such a great NIA teacher and really taught me how to dance from my own inner spirit. Thank you Pam for that. She was a light in the lives of many.

Sweet Pam, what a joy it was to know you! Your spirit had a bright light that drew all of us towards you and that light will never go out. You were so many things. . .sassy, inspirational, uplifting, joyful, full of energy and love for all you knew. Anyone in your circle walked away a better person, a happier person. Although you will be greatly missed by all of us, we will carry a piece of you in our hearts and souls for the rest of our lives. Not everyone knows how to live, but you did. Not everyone knows how to love, but you did. And not everyone knows how to be loved, but you did. Thank you for your friendship, the laughter and the tears. May your family find peace in knowing that you are dancing and will be their Guardian Angel, sharing in their lives and watching over them – to give them strength, hope and love. . .as you did in life! That bond can never be broken. Love to you and your family.

Shelley, Your mama was such an incredible soul and I am fortunate to have spent some time learning from her. I always thought she had a little dash of Tina Turner in the way she moved, and a whole of LOVE and SPIRIT! Her positive impact will radiate forever. Thinking of you as you release her light into the universe.
