I had the pleasure of meeting Bob and Tina a few years ago at a Jeep event. He was larger than life and much beloved in the Jeep community. We were honored to call him a friend. It’s hard to fathom seeing him at a Jeep event the week before and not knowing that it would be the last time we saw him. Events at Byrd’s won’t be the same without his smiling face. Prayers to Tina and all the family.

I had the pleasure to meet Bob when he worked on an airplane rebuild I am involved with. Bob was a master craftsman and a great guy. He had vision, skill, and a strong work ethic. He was also a friend to many in the aviation and four wheel drive community. He will be missed!

My thoughts and prayers are with Bob’s family and friends. Blue skies and tailwinds, Bob.

My brother was larger than life from the time he was born. Full speed ahead and fearless was his motto and we all loved him for it. He is my only sibling and I will miss him every moment of every day. As his older sister it was my job to keep track of him and keep him out of trouble. That wasn’t an easy task when we were kids and no one could keep track of him during his life. He is a very special guy and there will never be another one like him. I love you dearly Bro. I will miss our talks and time together.
Monty loved him from the time he met him. Bro and Monty would talk for hours about old cars/trucks and mechanical things and how to fix whatever was not working. Monty will miss those talks and times together.
I took Monty down to our parents so they could meet him before we were married. Bobby was deep frying turkeys at a friends house so we stopped to see him before going to Mom and Dad’s. The “boys” went to the freezer and offered Monty a pint jar of shine and Monty obliged them. After a few of those he was more than a little unable to function. Monty and I left and went to Mom and Dad’s, its was Thanksgiving time, and you can imagine their looks when I introduced them to Monty in his condition. After 23 years of marriage we all still talk and laugh about that first meeting. I told my parents it was Bobby’s fault Monty was in the shape he was in and they believed me. That is only one of many sibling stores I could share!
My love, blessings and condolences to all our family.

There are no words to explain the loss of your presence. The loss of a friend/brother/father to Keith and to us all. I hope you knew how very much you were loved by us all. Keep a watch over us as we try to find peace and comfort in each other in the days ahead. Your smile and friendship will be forever missed. God blessed us with the opprotunity to call you and Tina friends for 10 years. We love you and we will miss you and think of you everyday. But for now we will smile through the tears as we think of you, our wheelin buddy.
