Shirley taught us lessons on how to love and how to live, and she did it with grace, humility and her incredible spirit – all gifts from God, whom she loved more than anything. Truman, your love lifted her up, encouraged her and sustained her every day. You know she loved you with all of her heart. She’s gone from us to her heavenly Father, moved on to her new home. She fought a good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith. God Bless each of you. You are in my prayers.

Shirley touched so many lives with her courage and strength in her battle and her entire life. This was evident by the number of people who came to pay homage to her and her family. I am sure she had no idea how many were amazed with her grace and witness. May God bless and comfort Truman and the family.
