    Sherryl and family,
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Lacy. I actually first met him in the late 1970′s at the U of A when we were both taking some administration courses. I believe Dr. Farthing was the instructor. Of course, most of my memories were of him in connection with the school system and the city. I must say that Lacy was one of the finest, most exemplary people that I ever had the pleasure to meet. He enriched the lives of thousands of young people, and it was an honor to call him a colleague and a friend.

I am having to be out of town and out of state through Monday, so I will be unable to attend either the visitation or the funeral. I am extremely disappointed about this, but I cannot change this. I do want you to know that you will constantly be in my thoughts and prayers. If I can be of any help or service to you as you deal with this loss, I would consider it to be an honor.

We are all so lucky to have had the blessing of knowing Lacy, and I think the Lord that he gave us a man like that. God bless you all.

Sherryl and family: Words cannot describe our sorrow at Lacy’s passing. We loved him and so enjoyed being with him, esp. when he and Chris were together and Chris would be teasing him. We’re so glad we were able to fish and camp with him in Canada this past summer….
He was a good man, and will be missed by many people….

Special prayers for the family of Lacy. He was my cousin. I remember visiting his parents, Aunt E and Uncle Albert, in Texas and playing with Lacy. Since he was younger than I was, I remember thinking of him as my younger brother and having fun playing with him. He will be missed. May God continue to give you strength. God bless you and your family.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Lacy. He was very influential in Russell’s life at Elkins High School and I have known him for years through city government. We have recently been around Lacy through his and Sherril’s support of the Elkins Band. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Hugs and prayers for the entire Randall family.

Mr. Randall was one of my favorite teachers. I graduated from St. Paul in 1991. He was always so kind and fair with all the students. Then my daughters had him as a teacher in Elkins. He will be greatly missed by our community. The football games won’t be the same without him. Neither will the band end of season potato supper/raffle. Prayers to the family for comfort.
