He was born October 28, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1983 and was proud to call Fayetteville home. Friends and Family are welcome to drop by the family home after the services for a casual gathering.

He was a great friend for most of my life, more than that he was a great human being. I pray for comfort for his family and friends. He will be truly missed by myself, as I know he will by all that knew him. My deepest condolences.

Dear Luhrs Family: It breaks our hearts when death separates us from our loved ones. We are reminded in the Bible that there is One who sees our sorrow and pain and has promised that soon death will be done away with….swallowed up forever.(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(John 5:28,29) I hope in the days ahead as you reflect on the life of Richard, and the wonderful memories left behind, that you will also find comfort in God’s promises to us for the near future. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Robin, Norman and family ~ Richard came by to see me at work just a week or so before the accident, he was in the area and stopped by for no reason other than to just say Hi!. We sat and talked for a short while and I was so happy to see him with a positive outlook and to hear how proud he was when he talked about his daughter. We had a nice visit and when he left, my co-worker sitting next to me said “What a nice young man” , I had to agree, his attitude was very positive and upbeat despite current events in his life. When Robin called to tell me about the accident, I was at a loss for words and I still am. I just wanted you guys to know that we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers, not just for today but for the coming months as well. Much love ~ Crystal and Terry Remington
