Anthony Michael Scarpino, October 10, 1945~April 18, 2015

Scarpino, MichaelAnthony Michael Scarpino was born in Chicago to Anthony and Regina Scarpino on October 10, 1945.  He passed away peacefully April 18, 2015 in Fayetteville where he lived the past 30 years. Tony showed us all courage, perseverance, patience, compassion and unconditional love of all who was around him. He was devoted to his extended family.  He is survived by a brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews.

We will be throwing a 50’s, 60’s dance party in his honor Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Teatro Scarpino from 3 – 5pm. All friends and families of those who know this family are invited to celebrate his life and spirit. Vintage dress if you are so inspired!

    Thank you for publishing Tony’s obit. Even though I visited him every week for years, there was so much I didn’t know about him. I am glad his suffering is at an end and he is with God.

    I am so sorry to hear about Tony’s passing. I had the honor of taking Holy Communion to him when he was at Fayetteville Health and Rehab. This past Christmas, he shared some of his handiwork with beads with me which I will treasure. Rest in peace, Tony. I hope you have a chance to meet Elvis. God speed. Thank you for being such an amazing young man.
