We were so sorry to hear from Sharolyn of Ronnie’s death. I remember Ronnie and Anabel talking about going fishing, something they both enjoyed. I guess the last times we saw Ronnie were when we were visiting Anabel at her apartment in Fayetteville, and at my brother’s funeral.

Sharolyn, Suzie, Wayne, Jason and your families- our thoughts and prayers are with you today.

    With love, Paula and Stan

What a comforting hope for the near future.
Meanwhile, be assured of our love and sympathy,

My name is Sue Burson-Carter, University High School, Class of 1962. I am the School Coordinator for UHS/Peabody Elementary on the Campus of the U of A in Fayetteville. Our school has been looking for Ronnie, Class of 1963, for our 2014 All School Reunion on June 14, 2014. We have continued to locate Ronnie, and other classmates of our school for our 2015 Reunion coming up on Oct. 10, 2015. I was heartbroken when a classmate emailed me today (June 1st) with the news of Ronnie’s passing. I have fond memories of going to school with Ronnie, as do so many of our other classmates. We all regret that we did not learn of his passing in time to attend his funeral. Just know that we share in your loss and Ronnie will live on with our school through our cherished memories of him. It is ironic that you put his High School photo in his Obituary. We classmates at UHS will keep Ronnie’s family in our prayers and we have but one regret that we did not find him before his passing. Regards, Sue Burson-Carter, UHS Class of 1962 (501) 269-6913 School Coordinator.

I wanted to let Suzie, Peabody Elementary, Class of 1965, know that our school (University High School/Peabody Elementary) has been looking for her as well. She has several classmates that remember her well and are interested in finding her. I do not know if Ronnie’s other sister, Sharolyn, went to school with at Peabody Hall or not. If she did, we would like to talk to her as well. I am the UHS/Peabody Elementary School Coordinator, and was in the last UHS Graduating Class of 1962. It has been devastating today to learn today of Ronnie’s passing. Please know that our school shares in your sorrow and we send our deepest condolences to the family.
