Russell Harrison Hall, December 15, 1949~June 22, 2015
Russell devoted his life to providing for his family. He enjoyed hunting, deep sea fishing, gardening, grilling and bread baking. In younger years, he may be remembered for his athletic achievements, lettering in all 3 sports, as a Fayetteville High School Bulldog in the late 1960’s. He played on the All-State and All-American football teams, and then as a Razorback at the University of Arkansas.
Professionally, he was a senior lineman at SWEPCO for 17 years, until he started his own high voltage electrical contracting business, Skyline Services. He successfully operated Skyline for over 20 years until he sold the business and retired.
Russell also volunteered many years to Round Mountain Fire Department, serving as a Board Member and as President. In later years, he served the Beach Club Community in Gulf Shores, AL. on the Catalina Board. Russell never refused help to anyone in need and was always first to assist his family and neighbors, in the Wyman Community. Russell loved the Lord and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and then of First Baptist Church of Fayetteville.
Russell is survived by his wife of 15 years, Joanne Buelt Hall; his three daughters, Alisa Maree Duncan and husband, Daniel; Jennifer Rose Hall; Sarah Adair Wood and husband, Ross; Joanne’s children, Sarah Khan and husband, Anwar; Brian Stuart and wife, Denise Frances Stuart; and Mike Stuart and wife, Lauren Harris Stuart.
