    To Jim, Bill and families,
I was shocked and saddened by the news of Shirley’s death. It had been several months since I had seen her since we would usually run into each other when we were shopping, usually at Harp’s or Walmart. She and I go way back to High School days when she played basketball for Elkins and I played for Greenland. We didn’t know each other at that time but we married guys who would go to work at Standard Register about the same time and so become close friends so that is when your mom and dad, Carl and I became close friends and started raising our families. We grieved your dad’s death and still miss him just as we will miss your sweet mom.. Praying that God will give you comfort and peace. Blessings!
