Calvin Ray Sherman, August 24, 1942~November 21, 2015

ShermanCalvin Ray Sherman, 73, of Fayetteville, died November 21, 2015 at the V.A. Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born August 24, 1942 in Calumet, Oklahoma to George and Jewell McDonald Sherman. Ray retired from EPC and was an avid gardener. Mostly he enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Charline Pevehouse Sherman; three sons, Ronald Noel and wife, Barbara  of Fayetteville, Greg Noel of Fayetteville and Tim Noel and wife, Ladonna of Winslow; two daughters, Regina Wilson and husband, Don of Fayetteville and Sandy Frederick of Fayetteville; six sisters, Loreda Sherman of Oklahoma City, OK., Mildred Thomas and husband, Earl of Ukon, OK., Georgie Sherman and Juanita Sherman both of Rogers, AR., Carol Killian and husband, Jim of Greenland, AR. and Shirley Morphis of Oklahoma City, OK., one brother, Johnny Sherman of Katy, TX.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lester Shadrick officiating. Burial will follow at Campbell Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5- 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

    Charlene and family, we are so sorry for your loss, but we know where he is painless!!! We always enjoyed watching his grandchildren needing to use the restroom during church. Grampa was always ready ! If there is anything we can do, please let us know.
