I never will forget, I got the worse spanking of my life because of Jake. I was 4 or 5 and Jake had just come from the army and you were living at Edna’s. I thought that he hung the moon and I couldn’t wait for mother to take me to see him sooo I took it upon myself to walk from home to Edna’s along hiway 16 East. WOW when mom found out she spanked me all the way home.
    Much love to you all
    Judy

Renee’ and I became acquainted with Jake and Margaret not long after we moved to Fayetteville in 1976. Very special people in uncountable ways. I have many fond memories of Jake over the past many decades as I am certain anyone who met him has. Take comfort in knowing that Jake will always be remembered as a person of good character and who put a smile on many unhappy faces.
