Carol and family- so sorry to hear of Jim’s death. It is hard to lose a spouse as I know, but at least I had time to prepare. Jim was a great friend to Terrel and I and we had many great times after those baseball games. Love to you and the kids and your grandson, Bobby.

I am sorry to hear about Mr Jim. He will be missed.
I got to know him when he came to the clinic with his mom but he was so helpful in my time of loss of my father. He told me a story of being a kid at the gas station and helping my dad change the oil in a car.
Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any help. Your family will be in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hawkins family. I got to know Jim thru Jennifer Thurman Nixon and her father Larry Nixon, He was a very kind and caring man who seemed to enjoy life. Jim was a very well liked and respected man by those that knew him. We will definitely miss seeing him at the little league ballpark grilling hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone. His generosity was appreciated and will be missed.

The whole community of NWA has lost a great friend. I have been honored to serve with Jim on the Board of Pagnozzi Charities. He has done so much for the foundation and was a driving force in getting it to where it is today.
The events will never be the same without him around. My condolences to Carol and your family.

Jim and I have known each other since we were kids. I remember going to the farm with Jim and riding around in the Jeep with his dad and friends. We fished together, played cards together, both came back from the Military about the same time. I believe the quality of the great times we had together is immeasurable. Carol and family I know you feel great sorrow as we all do but let good memories oushine the grief.

Jim was a friend for many years, would come by work to visit, and sent me humorous emails that I enjoyed for a long time. He and his grandson Bobby were inseparable, and I admired him for mentoring and loving that young man. We were born one week apart. He was a good man who will be missed, I will miss him. Duane

    Carol and family,
I just heard about Jim and would have been there if I had know earlier. Jim was one of a kind. He had that personality that drew you in and made you laugh at everything. There should be more Jim Hawkins in this world. I considered him a friend and truly enjoyed the times I got to spend with The Hawk. To you and the family, my heartfelt condolences.
