Orvil Bentley 65, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away July 6, 2010 in
Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born November 6, 1944 at Cedarville, Arkansas, the
son of Alfred Sennett and Violet Viola Collins Bentley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Shawnda Michelle
Bentley; two sisters, Nancy J. Reagan and Mary E. Brasuell.
Orvil was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid hunter and
fisherman. He loved to play jokes on his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Roylene Evans Bentley of the home; four sons,
Stanford D. Anderson and wife Kimberly, Richard C. Bentley and wife Heather, Orvil
L.Bentley and wife Tiffany, and Carroll Gene Bentley and wife Meghan all of Prairie
Grove, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Myranda M. Anderson, LaKaya C. Bentley,
Kendrick D. Bentley, Madison N. Bentley and Alyssa T. Bentley; six brothers, Charles B.
Bentley of Cedarville, Arkansas, Melvin L. Bentley of Siloam Springs, Arkansas , Alfred
Jr. Bentley of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, George M.Bentley of Cincinatti, Arkansas,
William Bentley of Moffett, Oklahoma and Wesley Beacham of Colcord, Oklahoma; one
sister Ruby Crabtree of Cedarville, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 7 PM at Beards Funeral Chapel
in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Beards Funeral
Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the
Prairie Grove Cemetery, Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
