Patsy Ann Carpenter, 75 of Fayetteville died Friday, April 2, 2010 at her home.
She was born August 7, 1934 in Canton, Pennsylvania the daughter of Percy Joseph
Christman and Dorothy Edna Warren.
She married Charles F. “Russ” Carpenter on October 27, 1954 in Dansville, New
York; and, moved from Anchorage, AK to Arkansas in 1974. She was employed by
Montgomery Wards for 16 years as retail manager.
Survivors include her husband, Charles “Russ” Carpenter of the home; 3 children,
JoLynn Sharp and her husband, Myron of Goshen, AR, Darryl Carpenter and his wife,
Terry of Fayetteville, Robin Carpenter of Bentonville; brother, Mark Christman of Tioga,
PA; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2PM, Monday, April 5, 2010 at Beards Chapel with
Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officiating.
