Kenneth “Pappy” Stanfill, 89, of Springdale died Sunday May 9, 2010 in Fayetteville.
He was born February 4, 1921 in Huntington, AR the son of E.O. and Ethel Parker
Stanfill.
He served in the United States Army; worked as a Truck Driver for many years and
was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Springdale. He also had served as a
deacon, Sunday School Supernatant in different churches over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Gracie Stanfill of the home to whom he married, August
31, 1940; 2-sons, Jerry Stanfill and wife, Phyllis of Springdale and Rick Stanfill and wife,
Judy of Fort Smith; 1-daughter, Donna Farris and husband, Bob of Springdale; 2-
brothers, Jimmy Joe Stanfill of Fort Smith and Delbert Stanfill of Troy, Ohio; 6-
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church in
Springdale with Reverends Bob Fant, Hoyt Ming and Don Nye officiating. Burial will be
in Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 PM – 7 PM at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in
Fayetteville.
